Of course you know, Sex and the City 2  had to be different. Instead of opening on Friday like most movies, producers chose to launch it on Thursday. That’s today! I don’t know  if you’re dragging someone to see it, or if you’re being dragged yourself, either way it goes, you’re going to see it one way or another. I know I’m going to see it! And I’m going to enjoy every minute of it.

Are you going to see it?

Honestly ARO, the first ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ scared the wits out of me as a child. Sure, the next few were more humorous than scary, mainly because I knew what to expect, but what I didn’t expect was for Warner Bros.’ New Line to make a remake. Admittedly, we should have seen it coming, what with all of the other film remakes going on, i.e. Halloween, Clash of the Titans, etc.

Well, you know how people love to be scared out of their minds, and the box office numbers proved this once again, as ‘Nightmare’ made $32.2 million this past weekend. Amazing right? I’m not a big fan of scary movies, so I’ll wait until this one comes out on DVD so that I can hide under my comforter in the privacy of my own bedroom. :)

Here are the stats from this weekend at the movies:

1. “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” $32.2 million.

2. “How to Train Your Dragon,” $10.8 million.

3. “Date Night,” $7.6 million.

4. “The Back-up Plan,” $7.2 million.

5. “Furry Vengeance,” $6.5 million.
